Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Mini: 10 More Games Revealed For NA & Japan

Sega has confirmed the next 10 games to be included in the North America’s Genesis Mini and Japan’s Mega Drive Mini.

In a press email, Sega revealed the following ten games for the Genesis Mini. Notably this second list contains Sonic the Hedgehog 2, which was strangely missing from the initial list of 10 games revealed for the Genesis Mini.

1. Earthworm Jim
2. Sonic the Hedgehog 2
3. Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse
4. World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
5. Contra: Hard Corps
6. Streets of Rage 2
7. Thunder Force III
8. Super Fantasy Zone
9. Shinobi III: Return of the Ninja Master
10. Landstalker

The next 10 games for the Japanese Mega Drive Mini were revealed separately in a Famitsu livestream, and are presented below:

1. Thunder Force III
2. Super Fantasy Zone
3. Musha Aleste
4. World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck
5. Bare Knuckle II
6. The Hybrid Front
7. Landstalker
8. Contra: Hard Corps
9. Dyna Brothers 2
10. Game no Kanzume Otokoyou

The SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Mini are set to release worldwide on September 19. According to our previous report, the final 20 games for each version of the mini console will be dropping in two separate announcements before E3. We will continue to bring more information as it comes.
