Sega Less Than Stellar Financial Results, Sonic Forces “Performed Strongly”

Sega has just released its financials for Q3 2017/18 and things look less than stellar for the entertainment company.

Overall Sega has seen a drop in both Year-Over-Year Sales and Profits with the Profits dropping by Around 26%. Although Sega attributed the drop to the lack of new titles for their pachinko and pachislots machine business.

If it is any consolation, the Entertainment Contents business performed strongly, bringing in profits for the company. Sega has also mentioned their latest Sonic title as “Performed Strongly”

“SONIC FORCES,” which is a new title of a 3D high speed action game, performed strongly.

Sega is not expecting its financials to turn over greatly anytime soon, keeping its lowered forecast which was released in November. You can view the full financial report here.
