Today an interesting video of a professional Shiny Hunter in Pokemon Sword and Shield has surfaced from Japan.
Tanaka Barakouki, a hunter who looks for Shiny Pokemon, streamed himself playing Pokemon Sword/Shield on 10 Nintendo Switch systems at the same time. He controlled the systems through a special device, where button inputs affect all 10 systems at the same time.
By playing the games simultaneously on 10 consoles, Tanaka Barakouki effectively increased his odds of catching a Shiny Pokemon, as the odds of catching one are 1 in 4096. As the livestream lasted for 10 hours, we can all assume Barakouki spent that amount of time shiny hunting.
