Skyrim And Super Mario Odyssey Have Been Successfully Modded On Switch

Hackers have made yet another breakthrough on Nintendo Switch this week, with the development of a program called LayeredFS.

LayeredFS is a tool that allows players to replace parts of a game’s program. This essentially means there is now a way for Nintendo Switch owners to install mods or replace in-game models in about any game they want.

Here are a few examples of LayeredFS running on Switch:

Modding The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Replacing character models in Super Mario Odyssey
