SMG Studio, the developers of Death Squared, have posted a cryptic update teasing a physical release of the game.
In a post on Twitter, SMG Studio revealed that a new announcement related to Death Squared was coming “soon”. Included in the post was a GIF featuring a blurred out picture of what is clearly a physical Switch cart.
For those who may not be convinced, a non-blurred out version of this picture was used by SMG Studio in a Reddit post one year ago. In that post, SMG Studio mentioned they were measuring interest in a physical release of Death Squared on Switch through a survey. The image attached was one of a mock Switch cart for Death Squared, which you can see is identical to the one in the Twitter post (minus the blur)
Given this evidence, it seems all but confirmed that SMG Studio finally managed to put together a physical release of Death Squared on Switch. We will be sure to bring further updates as they come.
