The PlayStation Classic was released earlier this month to disastrous results, and looks like something else might be dealing a bigger blow to it.
A video comparison showing PlayStation’s Ridge Racer running on a hacked SNES Classic Edition and PlayStation Classic has surfaced. Even though the SNES Classic Edition is less powerful than the PlayStation Classic, it runs Ridge Racer with better frame rate and significantly lesser input lag.
This is pretty shocking as the SNES Classic Edition was never built to run PlayStation games, while the PlayStation Classic was built for that very purpose and couldn’t accomplish its task properly.
