It looks like Nintendo fans may not get to enjoy the sequel to Earthlock on the go, after all.
Recently, Snowcastle Games fully unveiled Earthlock 2 to the public, with PC, PS4, and Xbox One as release platforms. With the absence of Nintendo Switch on that list, some fans took to asking the developers themselves if a Switch port was still possible.
In response, Snowcastle Games tempered expectations – stating that the Switch’s limited hardware would make porting Earthlock 2 a big challenge (courtesy of Nintendo Life):
“Unfortunately, as of now, we can’t promise it. We certainly will try, but especially the RAM on Nintendo Switch makes it very hard to squeeze in the game.”
We’ll just have to wait and see if this situation changes in the future. In the meantime, you can check out the reveal trailer for Earthlock 2 over here.
