Multiple European Nintendo Switch Online members who ordered the official NES controllers for Nintendo Switch are reporting that they have not received their goods for weeks.
According to reports on Reddit, the issue affects customers living in Germany, Poland, Sweden, and various other European countries. Customers living in those countries claim they have not received their controllers, even though DHL estimated the controllers will be delivered in early January.
The problem seems to be with Nintendo of Europe, the company that is dispatching the controllers. After speaking to DHL, the courier responsible for delivery, customers say Nintendo had forgotten to label the packages with Lithium Battery warnings, thus they had to be returned to Nintendo of Europe’s HQ in Frankfurt.
It seems this problem is going to take awhile to resolve, as Nintendo probably has to deal with many returned controllers and ship them with the correct labels.
