This week, fans of the Super Mario series were elated to find the entire original soundtrack for Super Mario 64 on music streaming service Spotify.
While many assumed the soundtrack was official, turns out it wasn’t the case as the copyright on the soundtrack states that it was uploaded by an entity called GamingCentral Label, rather than Nintendo.
As this is an unofficial upload, we could probably expect Nintendo to take it down the moment they catch wind of this. The soundtrack upload comes after Nintendo of America ordered Youtubers to take down uploads of various Nintendo music from Youtube due to copyright infringement.
