Something Special Happens When You Play Animal Crossing: New Horizons In Japanese

If you’re playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons in Japanese, you would probably have encountered a question that wasn’t asked in the English version of the game.

In the initial stages of the game, Timmy and Tommy will ask you a few questions. And if you’re playing in Japanese, they would ask whether you’re living in Japan or overseas.

If you answer “overseas”, they will compliment you for understanding Japanese:

Translated by NintendoSoup:

“Ah of course, so you’re living in the west! Since your Japanese is good, I was thinking whether you are living in Japan!”

What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
