A few weeks ago, the director of the Sonic The Hedgehog movie Tim Miller had confirmed that after the major backlash from fans that Sonic would be getting a redesign.

Many fans then started to speculate what Sonic’s redesign may look like after a teaser image which was shared but it now seems that an artist by the name of artbaez working on the movie has decided to share some information on it.

Wish I could show you what the new Sonic Movie redesign looks like.. 70% improvement since trailer 1 though.

I think the majority of fans will like it better than the original movie iteration. Although it may not be 100% Sonic depending on your point of view, he will feel like he lives in the Sonicverse. What’s more important is that the director and Paramount have heard the fans loud and clear! Made improvements late in the game which are costly to production, marketing and licensing. So either way fans made it happen, this is your movie now and should support it when it hits theaters in 2020.
