Paramount has released some new promotional material for the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog 2 film.
Firstly, during the NFL Super Bowl, a new “Big Game Spot” trailer was shown off, which includes a mix of footage from the previous trailer along with some new clips. Most notably, it reveals that Dr. Eggman’s iconic Death Egg Robot will be appearing in the film.
Next, Paramount also released a new poster for the film through IGN, showing off all of its main cast as well as the green emerald that will presumably play an important role in the film. As pointed out by Sonic Stadium, the ruins in the poster’s background bear a striking resemblance to the Labyrinth Zone from the games, and is perhaps another testament to the filmmaker’s dedication to the source material.
