During Gamescom 2018, DualShockers sat down with Soulcalibur VI producer Motohiro Okubo to ask him what the chances are for Soulcalibur VI to come to Nintendo Switch.
Okubo said that while a Nintendo Switch version is currently not in development, they will look into its feasibility after Soulcalibur VI launches on other platforms this October. After all, Bandai Namco Entertainment is a huge supporter of Nintendo Switch – as long as the Switch is powerful enough to run Soulcalibur VI, nothing is stopping them from making a port.
Check out Okubo’s full words below.
“At the moment there is no development for Switch at all. I understand that the Switch is a very successful hardware, and of course if there is a possibility, then it would be great to do it.
At the moment we’re focusing on the October 19th launch, so we don’t even have the time to think about that possibility. After the launch we’ll think about the possibility.”
