Nintendo Iberica, an official Nintendo subsidiary taking care of sales and marketing in Spain, has got into hot soup.
Spanish Nintendo fans and gamers are furious after Nintendo Iberica invited Youtube celebrity Sasel to represent Nintendo as an official spokesperson at their event.
The reason why this is such a controversial decision is because Sasel is known to spread misinformation about Nintendo and other companies in the video game industry in his videos. He has also ranted at Nintendo for not sending him a Nintendo Labo review unit.
Now many in the Spanish community are threatening to boycott Nintendo Switch games or even go to the extend of pirating these games to show their displeasure.
