Earlier this year, Part Time UFO landed on the Switch eShop with its wacky crane mechanics and stacking gameplay. What some fans may not know, however, is that the game actually debuted much earlier on smartphones – and this month actually marks its birthday!
To celebrate the mobile version’s 3rd anniversary, developer HAL Laboratory shared an adorable new piece of special artwork on Twitter. In particular, it features Jobski, the Player 2 UFO, and the genie Ankh all enjoying a pretty (yet unstable) cake!
Along with the artwork was a message of thanks to fans (rough translation below):
“It’s been three years since the release of the smartphone debut of “Part Time UFO”!
Thanks to everyone who supported us, we were able to release the Nintendo Switch version.
Thank you for your continued support.”
