Nintendo has been making full use of the back of their Nintendo Switch titles’ cover artwork lately, from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s controls to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s artwork of Link climbing up a mountain.
So what did Nintendo do for Splatoon 2? Thanks to @ZmartGames, we now have a first look at the back of Splatoon 2’s cover art.
Splatoon 2 is the first Nintendo Switch title to feature reversible cover artwork. The reversible cover art features artwork from Salmon Run and the game’s Story Mode. Here’s how it looks like when reversed.
Not too bad, huh? It goes to show the amount of love and care Nintendo puts into making their retail copies much better.
Before you go, have a closer look at the game’s cartridge too.
Splatoon 2 launches next week on Nintendo Switch worldwide – July 21st, 2017.
