Splatoon 3 Will Introduce A New Trio Of Hosts, Called “Deep Cut”

During today’s Splatoon 3 Direct presentation, Nintendo revealed a fresh set of faces that players will meet during each announcement!

Namely, the game will introduce three new hosts who will be sharing the latest news and info on the current battle stages with players in the game. These three hosts are Shiver (an Octarian), Frye (an Inkling), and Big Man (a manta ray) – who collectively call themselves “Deep Cut”!

In previous games, Splatoon players would get news from the “Squid Sisters” Callie and Marie, while Splatoon 2 players would get news updates from “Off The Hook” members Pearl and Marina. This therefore marks the first time that players will get in-game news from three hosts – and this is likely to accommodate for Splatfests in Splatoon 3, which will now take place between three competing teams instead of two!
