Square Enix Employee Tests Positive For The Coronavirus

Square Enix, developer and publisher of the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest games, has confirmed that an employee has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The employee who tested positive works at the company’s headquarters in Tokyo. Square Enix reassured the public and investors that their company had implemented policies to combat the coronavirus since February, such as a mask-wearing policy and regular hand washing policy.

In addition, all Square Enix had started working from home since April 8, 2020 to May 6, in line with the state of emergency declared in Japan.
