Masashi Takahashi, the producer of Octopath Traveler, recently told Dengeki Online in an interview that Square Enix currently has no plans to make paid DLC (downloadable content) for Octopath Traveler.
Takahashi said Octopath Traveler was planned to be a “complete experience” for the player right from the beginning and includes enough content. In fact, during E3, the company said it will take at least 80 hours to complete the main story and all other side quests.
Of course, Square Enix could change their mind if Octopath Traveler becomes a very successful game and fans demand the company to create DLC for it.
