Square Enix has announced their latest financial results for investors and financial institutions in Japan today.
While Square Enix CEO Yosuke Matsuda didn’t comment much on the Nintendo Switch, he did reveal that Square Enix will announce several games in the lead up to E3 2019. As Square Enix releases titles for Nintendo Switch on a regular basis, we expect at least one or two announcements from them in the first half of the year.
Besides this, Matsuda announced Square Enix plans to reorganize and consolidate their 11 game development units into 4. He explained it’s “in order to increase the efficiency of workflows, make more effective use of resources, and consolidate our expertise with the aim of improving profitability.”
