As you may all know, Star Fox 2 was never released on the SNES back in the day. Instead, the game only became officially available to the public when the SNES Classic Edition launched last week.
Star Fox 2 may be breaking a new record after many decades too. If the SNES Classic Edition sells at least 1 million units (which we are pretty sure it’s going to happen), it will make Star Fox 2 the 19th Nintendo published SNES game to sell at least one million copies, a full 27 years after the SNES originally launched.
