Last month, we learned that Star Wars Episode I: Racer was set for a May 12 release on Nintendo Switch. If you’ve been eagerly awaiting to play the game later this week, however – we have some unfortunate news for you.
Developer Aspyr has postponed the Switch port’s launch due to the current coronavirus outbreak – which forced their team to work from home for their safety. Sadly, the studio did not provide an updated release date in lieu of this delay.
We’ll report back as soon as we hear an update about the situation. For now, the NintendoSoup team wishes Aspyr’s staff the best of health and safety amid this pandemic.
