Legendary Director Steven Spielberg has just recently released his latest movie, Ready Player One, which coincidentally is, about VR games. Technically, he should be quite knowledgeable in the realm of VR games. After all, he did spend a lot of time investigating and working on the cinematic aspects of VR. However, during an interview with Japanese News Firm Kyodo, Spielberg said something that got some of us scratching our heads for the truth. He said:
“I played Mario and so on on the PlayStation. The first time I tried it I didn’t want to take the goggles off.”
It could be that Spielberg mixed up the Nintendo exclusive franchise with something else on the PlayStation, or he may be in to something that we don’t know.
Of course, as Nintendo fans, we’ll like to try out a full Mario VR game, but on the PlayStation… that doesn’t feel a bit right.
