Stolen Nintendo Switch Helps To Crack Murder Case

As you know, the Nintendo Switch is a seen as a system of entertainment that many use to have fun. But turns out it has another use – solving a murder case.

20 year old Derric Scott and Tiquez Timmons were accused of murdering University of South Alabama economics professor Matthew Wiser in what police suspect to be a home invasion robbery. At the time the original report was published, the police ran out of leads and offered a USD5000 bounty for whoever that could provide a tip to solving the case.

WKRG reports that in a hearing today, a stolen Nintendo Switch owned by Wiser was connected to the Internet. This was later traced to Scott and Timmons, the accused suspects. Thanks to the new discovery, the authorities now have a solid case against the accused.
