Over the past few years, a series of Zelda Games have seen remakes, including Ocarina of Time 3D and Majora’s Mask 3D.
From a report by Game Informer, The company behind the two remakes on the 3DS, Grezzo, has sent out a recruitment notice for Unreal Engine 4 programmers to aid a upcoming “Legends” game that they are working on.
“The website, when translated to English, describes hiring developers for a new project by asking “Would you like to make a legend together 2?” The “2” at the end is because they presented the same line when recruiting for Majora’s Mask 3D, though it was not known that was the project at the time.”
While this might let to speculations that a new Legend of Zelda remake is nigh, the article also notes that Grezzo’s founder, Koichi Ishii, was responsible for another “Legends” game, The Legend of Mana.
Only time will really tell if all these will lead to a new Zelda remake, perhaps on the Nintendo Switch (considering the use of Unreal 4).
