During a recent video interview, Suda51 talked about No More Heroes III and briefly touched on Killer7 as well as his plans after finishing up No More Heroes III.
In the video, Suda51 said he doesn’t want to make a Killer7 sequel as the story has “already been told”, but he doesn’t mind releasing a Killer7 Perfect Edition if Capcom approves it. The Perfect Edition will include the full story on Killer7, as only one third of what he wrote made it into the original game.
After No More Heroes III, Suda51 wants to work on brand new IP. That said, he also wants to make as many No More Heroes games as possible to surpass the Final Fantasy series, telling the interviewer that he had to “beat Final Fantasy”.
