Super Mario 3D World Bowser’s Fury Mode Will Take Around 3 Hours To Beat, More Gameplay Details Shared

With the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury just over the horizon, various news outlets have begun sharing their reviews and early impressions of the title.

From these early impressions, we now have a better idea of how long the new Bowser’s Fury mode is, as well as what players can expect while working their way through it. You can check out a brief summary of some of the new information below:

  • Bowser’s Fury takes place in a large world similar in style to the Kingdoms of Super Mario Odyssey.
  • The world is divided into smaller sub-sections, which can be traversed by riding Plessie.
  • Each section has a number of Cat Shines which are obtained by completing various objectives, some of them hidden.
  • Bowser Jr. can be directed to pick up various powerups.
  • Bowser’s Fury mode takes around 3 hours to complete, and can go up to 6 hours for 100% completion.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury launches on February 12th for Switch.
