The GFK has published its list of best-selling games in the UK for the week ending February 13th, revealing just how well Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury performed for its launch in the region.
According to GFK’s report, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury topped the UK boxed retail charts last week, and is now the fastest selling release of 2021 so far. The launch of this updated re-release for Switch was almost three times bigger than the launch of the original on WiiU, no doubt due to the Switch’s more substantial install base.
Compared to other Mario titles on Switch, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury now has the third biggest UK launch behind Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Odyssey. Interestingly, it seems both of those titles saw a slight increase in sales last week, presumably because of 3D World‘s launch.
You can check out GFK’s full top ten list for the week ending February 13th below:
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons
- FIFA 21
- Spider-Man: Miles Morales
- Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
- COD Black Ops Cold War

- Minecraft (Switch boxed edition)
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Ring Fit Adventure
