HORI has announced two new officially licensed designs for the HORI Pad in Japan.
The two new designs are Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda, both launching in July 2019 in Japan. The HORI Pad is a wired controller that’s a cheaper alternative to the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller. The controller lacks HD Rumble, amiibo/NFC reader, and gyroscope support.
Both HORI Pads come with a D-Pad cover for those who prefer to play their games with the D-Pad. Here’s how the controllers look like:
