Super Mario Maker 2 Falls To Second Place On Japanese Sales Charts

Famitsu has announced the video game sales rankings for Japan from the period of July 15 to July 21, 2019.

After many weeks at the top, Super Mario Maker 2 finally came in as the No. 2 bestselling game in Japan – beaten by Professional Baseball Spirits 2019. Meanwhile, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 debuted this week at only No. 6 on the charts.

Sales of the Nintendo Switch in Japan also dropped last week again – with only 45,596 sold. Although it still topped consoles sales in general, these sales figures are still an 18% dip compared to last week.
