Super Mario Maker Series Surpasses 10 Million Copies Sold

The Super Mario Maker series, which kicked off in the Wii U era, has achieved a major sales milestone today.

As of September 30, 2019, the Super Mario Maker games have collectively sold 11.33 million units. In the last fiscal quarter, the series was standing at 9.82 million units.

Here’s the breakdown:

Super Mario Maker (Wii U) – 4 million

Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS (3DS) – 3.40 million

Super Mario Maker 2 (Switch) – 3.93 million
