Super Mario Odyssey and Fire Emblem Warriors will be localized in Chinese

Nintendo Hong Kong has announced Super Mario Odyssey and Fire Emblem Warriors will be localized in Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

This marks the first time a Nintendo Switch game being localized in Chinese. Up till now, players in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan had to play Nintendo Switch games such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild primarily in English or Japanese.

At the same time, we hope the Switch OS will be updated to support both languages.

Super Mario Odyssey launches on October 27, 2017 in Hong Kong (same as everyone else) while Fire Emblem Warriors releases on September 28 (at the same time as Japan).
