How Super Mario Odyssey’s Jump Up Super Star Was Localized

Did you know that Jump Up, Super Star!, the song Pauline sings in Super Mario Odyssey, was originally in Japanese?

In its original form, the song’s lyrics was completely different than what it is today. In fact, it went through multiple iterations after suggestions and advice from both Nintendo of America’s Treehouse (localization) team and Nintendo Co, Ltd themselves.
