Nintendo has confirmed the existence of a bug in Super Mario RPG that may prevent players from completing the game.
According to Nintendo, this bug occurs during a specific story portion in the area Land’s End, where the Paratroopas do not appear like they are supposed to, preventing players from progressing the story.
For the time being, players who encounter this bug will need to travel to the Mushroom Kingdom, then back to Land’s End, where the Paratroopas will be waiting for them as intended. A fix for this bug is planned to be released in December.
