Perhaps the most accessible Mario game to date, Super Mario Run has exceeded $60 Million in revenue worldwide on both Android and iOS platforms.
According to Sensor Tower, the game sees a bulk of its revenue come from iOS devices, with the platform accounting for 77% of its total revenue since its release in September 2016. The game later arrived on Android devices in March 2017.
Interestingly, United States users form 43% of the paying customers while Japanese user form about 17%.
It would seem that Nintendo’s venture into the mobile sector is no slouch and can definitely pull its own punches.
