Several hours ago, Universal Parks & Resorts CEO and Chairman Tom Williams announced new details for Super Nintendo World, scheduled to open first in Osaka in Spring 2020.
While the chairman expressed his desire to bring Super Nintendo World to as many Universal Studio parks around the world, there is one exception to the plan – China.
The company has no plans to open a Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Beijing, because of the reason he mentioned below:
“We are taking it everywhere. Any place we are not going to start round one is in Beijing. There is a tension between the Japanese products in China.”
