Keen on adding Super Real Mahjong PV LOVE 2~7! to your physical collection? You might end up seeing a little more than you’re expecting on your Nintendo Switch screen!
In a new interview with Famitsu, publisher City Connection revealed that the physical collection will actually have thinner censorship light bars than the separate digital versions of each game (such as Super Real Mahjong PV). They even released comparison photos to illustrate this, which you can see below (left is original, right is new):
Previously, readers may recall that Super Real Mahjong PV on Switch was struck down with increased censorship – after Nintendo discovered that animated nudity was still partially visible in some cutscenes. This new revision to thinner (yet sharper) censor bars appears to be City Connection’s way of giving the physical collection more eye-candy again, while staying within the standards of ratings boards.
In any case, this certainly might make the collection more valuable to some folks out there! If you want to grab a Japanese copy of the game, you can do so over here (ships worldwide).
