Super Robot Wars T Copyright Mentions Take Up Two Thirds Of Cartridge

The cons of being a crossover game.

Bandai-Namco’s Super Robot Wars T is a massive crossover of a whole lot of mecha franchises. With that much licensed content, copyright laws require that Bandai-Namco properly credits each of the individual rights holders. However, such an ambitious crossover may require a little too many copyright credits for the tiny cartridges Switch games come on…

As you can see in the image above, there are so many copyright credits that there is barely enough room for the game’s logo on it! In fact, the logo takes up so little space that if someone hadn’t told us it was Super Robot Wars T, we’d probably never have figured it out. It seems if developers want to make a truly epic videogame crossover, some sacrifices have to be made.
