Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Has Sold Over 5 Million Copies In The US Alone

Nintendo of America has put out a tweet announcing the number of copies Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has shipped as of January 31, 2019.

According ot the company, the game has sold over 5 million copies since December 7, 2018. Nintendo of America thanks everyone for their support with the following message and video:

As Super Smash Bros. Ultimate moved around 12 million copies worldwide by the end of December 2018, this means we can safely assume the game sold the best (or second best) in the states.
