Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Hits 2.9 Million Copies Sold In Japan

Media Create has published the latest sales data for the Japanese video game market for the period of February 25 to March 3, 2019.

Last week’s bestselling Nintendo game was Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which took No. 2 on the bestseller charts. The game sold 25,617 copies, bumping its lifetime total to 2,909,033 units. Following close behind is New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe at No. 3, which moved 24,436 copies.

Three new Switch games launched last week with the following results:

9. Zoids Wild – 10,030 copies

11. Darius Cozmic Collection – 9495 copies

19. Doraemon: Nobita’s Chronicle of the Moon – 3370 copies

Nintendo Switch hardware sales were 68,666 systems last week, taking 69.1% market share.
