Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Version 2.0.2 Now Live, Version 3.0.0 Slated For Spring Release

Nintendo has rolled out its latest update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Switch.

This update now brings Smash Ultimate to Version 2.0.2 which adds support to the upcoming Daisy, Young Link, and Ken amiibos including some minor gameplay fixes.

On April 2, 2019 a new software update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate became available for download. Please take a moment to download and install this update while your Nintendo Switch console is connected to the Internet.

Additional Information:

  • This update must be applied in order to use the game’s Internet features.
  • All players must be using the same version of the software to participate in Local Wireless Battles.
  • Replay data from previous versions is not compatible with the newest version. Be sure to convert your replays by going to Vault in the main menu and selecting “Convert to Video” before updating the software.

Version 2.0.2

  • General

    • Added support for the upcoming Daisy, Young Link, and Ken amiibo figures.

    • This update also includes various minor gameplay fixes.

In addition, the next update, Version 3.0.0, will be released this coming Spring along with the much anticipated release of Persona 5’s Joker for Smash Ultimate.
