Despite the sluggish world economy and raging pandemic, it looks like Pokemon GO is still on the rise!
In its latest performance report for the game s industry, analyst Superdata touched upon the mobile AR game as well. Notably, the game grossed a whopping $111 million during the month of March 2020 – an 18% growth month-over-month (i.e. compared to February 2020).
As many fans will know, Niantic did indeed make adjustments in Pokemon GO such it was easier to encounter Pokemon from one’s home. Based on these earnings, it’s probably safe to say that such strategies are working to retain players and player-spending overall.
