As the dust begins to settle from various holiday game launches, it looks like The Pokemon Company is emerging quite triumphant.
Analytics firm SuperData Research has released its latest findings on digital game sales during November 2019 – with Pokemon Sword/Shield taking first place for digital sales on consoles. Namely, the two titles moved 2.72 million units in their first month alone, outselling other recent Nintendo releases like Luigi’s Mansion 3.
Of course, we’d still need more data to corroborate these findings and give us a bigger picture of Pokemon Sword/Shield sales. Nevertheless, things are looking pretty peachy for the game’s success, so far.
We’ll report back as we hear more. Stay tuned!
