Circana has published the latest sales data for the gaming space in the US.

Firstly, we have some details for Donkey Kong Bananza‘s performance in its first month of release. Circana’s data shows that it was the No.1 selling Nintendo game for the month, and the No.3 top selling game overall across all platforms. It should be noted that Circana’s data does not include digital sales for Switch games, so its possible that its position on the overall sales charts is higher.

With regards to the Switch 2’s overall sales, Circana says that it was the best selling videogame hardware for the month and 2025 as a whole surpassing 2 million units sold in the US alone. This is also 75% ahead of the unit sales pace set by the original Nintendo Switch, suggesting that its on track to outperform its predecessor in the region if the trend continues.
