The Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA) has announced the winners of this year’s Japan Game Awards, recognizing excellent games that released over the past fiscal year.

This year, the Nintendo Switch 2 has been granted the Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Award. This award is given to individuals, production teams, organizations, and projects that have made major contributions to the games industry in recent years. The success of the Switch 2’s launch makes it more than worthy of this year’s accolade, which was accepted by Switch 2 producers Kouichi Kawamoto, Takuhiro Dohta, and Tetsuya Sasaki.
