Nintendo is doing very well on their home turf in Japan with the Nintendo Switch being the most popular console. The best thing is that, Nintendo’s latest console has held that title for six months running already, selling almost 5 million units in Japan alone. As of 26 August, the Nintendo Switch sold 4.966 million units.
Given the impending strong holiday season with heavy hitters like Pokemon Let’s Go and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, it is likely that the Nintendo Switch will keep its title for a while more.
