Switch Outsold PlayStation 4 And Xbox One In March 2019

The Nintendo Switch was March 2019’s best-selling console across units sold and dollars spent. And here are the top games for that month

Microsoft and Sony are working on new consoles, so that is likely discouraging purchases of those systems at the moment. Just recently, a new report said that Nintendo will release a cheaper Switch model in June so this trend might continue if it expands its current audience with a lower price model.

With games, hardware, and accessories sales combined, total US industry video game spending reached $1.2 billion in March which has decreased 11 percent compared to last year. Here are the game sales from GameSpot for the month of March.
