A new milestone has been set by Nintendo Switch this week, and it’s closing in on another.
As of August 26 in North America, Nintendo Switch currently has 1065 games in its catalog. For comparison’s sake, the number of Wii U games released is standing at 1041. It took less than 2 years for the Switch to surpass the number of games released on Wii U in 5 years.
Another platform the Switch is closing in on is the Nintendo 3DS, which currently has 1254 titles out in North America. We believe in a few months, the Switch will officially overtake the 3DS’s worth of games released in 7 years.
