Last Month, Nintendo announced that they would be delaying Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp to an unspecified date, seemingly in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
However, it seems that this delay has not stopped some people from obtaining access to the game on its originally scheduled launch date of April 8th. According to Twitter user @killetheth (AKA Rachael), she was able to play Advance Wars on her Switch Lite, seemingly because she had the game pre-loaded prior to the delay announcement.
You can check out some video footage and screenshots that she shared below:
Should Rachael’s claims be legitimate, it is possible that there may be other lucky Switch owners who also had the game pre-loaded prior to its most recent delay, and would thus also be able to play it on their Switch. At the time of this writing however, it is not known whether this early access may eventually be revoked by some means.
Stay tuned for more details as they come.
