Nintendo has published their latest earnings report for the nine months ending December 31st 2021, revealing some updated sales numbers for their hardware and software.
According to their report, the Switch has sold around 103.54 million units worldwide as of December 31st 2021, including the base model, Switch Lite, and OLED models. This figure surpasses the Wii’s lifetime sales of 101.63 million, making it Nintendo’s best-selling home console of all time. It has also outsold the original Playstation, which had a lifetime sales figure of 102.49 million. As for software, Nintendo’s total software sales for Switch have reached over 766 million units.
